Destroyer ~ rwar Rwar RAWR!

Hopefully this somewhat of a guide can help people who are beginning or would like to view my opinion with the Destroyer class.

Not a big fan of the Destroyer class however do know some of the basics.


Destroyer is very much so a 'tanky' class and in PvE it's primary role is to Tank (Contain attention of monsters) + act as a Support by using howl's from the Mercenary Skill Tree.

How does Destroyer shake dat booty? (How does Destroyer perform it's roles)

Tanking ~ Destroyer uses the recent revamped Punishing Swing EX to attract the enemy's attention, Punishing swing EX must hit the enemy/s in order for the Aggro effect to take place, Punishing Swing /EX has a cooldown of 10 seconds and the Aggro effect has a duration of 12 seconds meaning you have 2 seconds to re-hit the enemy.

Also Destroyer uses Flying Swing + Maelstrom Howl for a brief (Were talking 1/1.5 seconds) +70% damage reduction. Iron Skin from the Mercenary Skill Tree is also used as a self buff to aid in the tanking role.

Support ~ Destroyer uses the Support skills from the Mercenary Skill Tree, these are:
1) Taunting Howl  - At Lv5 reduces enemy's Attack Power by 20%.
2) Howl Charging - At Lv5 reduces damage taken by 30% + increases SA for all party members within range.
3) Devastating Howl - At Lv4 reduces enemy's Attack Power by 60%.
4) Devitalising Howl - At Lv4 removes 4 debuffs from enemy's hit.
5) Battle Howl - At Lv5+1 Increases Attack Power by 5886 + increases Critical chance by 11480.


What about the Skill Build?

Basically Max:
1) Punishing Swing (Lv11)
2) Devastating Howl (Lv4 + 1 +1) {Using Skill Ring + Cash Pouch if you can but no major crisis}
3) Breaking Point (Lv4)
4) Howl Charging (Lv5)
5) Taunting Howl (Lv5 + 1) {Using Skill Ring}

Skill Heraldry!?

This is mostly personal preference however 2 major Heraldry would be:
1) Devastating Howl 20% Cooldown.
2) Howl Charging 20% Cooldown.

The other two are optional, however ones to consider would be 50% Side Kick Action Speed Plate/Maelstrom Howl 20% Cooldown Plate/ Rolling Attack 20% damage increase Plate/ Whirlwind 20% damage increase Plate.

Destroyer your are so fat, you kill people with rolling attack.
Your boob's are so saggy, they make people's screens laggy, and your EX's are just crappy.

But don't worry much, you don't need to give a f**k cos you can tank all the attack's and watch the party turn to dust.
